Emmanuel Acho admits he’s no Dan Orlovsky when it comes to breaking down game film, but he’s not about to take flak from some social media troll on that issue.
Acho fired back at a critic Friday who criticized his film analysis of a play in Thursday night’s Detroit-Green Bay game. The FS1 analyst posted the video on X, showing a Lions touchdown.
One fan replied to the video, “Another copy of a @danorlovsky7 breakdown. Shame.”

Orlovsky, an ESPN analyst who is an acknowledged master of film analysis, jokingly responded to the fan Saturday, with a message saying “The countless times” along with laughing emojis.

Acho joined the discussion by saying that while he’s not Orlovsky, he has experience with film.
“I think D.O is the best breaking down film, but with all due respect I donโt watch D.Oโs clips,” Acho wrote. “However, I did also play the game of football and I do also watch tape. I missed the memo on D.O being the gate keeper or film. Lemme know if there is one.”

Acho’s The Facility co-host Chase Daniel, like Orlovsky a former NFL quarterback, even jumped into the fray, posting, ‘Ya’ll need to play nice.”

Frankly, any player who’s advanced beyond middle school football has spent more time than they’d like watching game film (Acho starred at Texas and played two seasons in the NFL). But Acho should not feel obligated to respond to someone with 298 followers who is just trying to troll him.
