When Chase Daniel took multiple-choice tests in school, he must have been the guy who always picked “All Of the Above.”
Faced with uncertain quarterback situations in Carolina and Miami and a brewing rebuild in Los Angeles, retired journeyman QB Chase Daniel used Wednesday’s episode of The Facility on FS1 to cook up a three-team trade that supposedly helps all three teams — and is also never going to happen.
“I’m gonna go outside the box, but it’s really not outside the box,” Daniel said before revealing his galaxy-brain deal.
The trade would send former Super Bowl MVP Matthew Stafford to Miami to replace the oft-injured Tua Tagovailoa, recently benched Panthers top pick Bryce Young to the Rams, and multiple packs back to Carolina.
I propose a 3 team trade:
▪️Rams get Bryce Young
▪️Dolphins get Matthew Stafford
▪️Panthers get Dolphins 2nd & Rams 3rd rounderIt’s really not that crazy. @TheFacilityFS1 pic.twitter.com/znLMfRqHQz

There are a few issues with the trade. The Dolphins just signed Tagovailoa to a huge contract, which means bringing Stafford aboard could throw their cap sheet out of whack. It’s hard to imagine the Rams giving up their star QB and a pick to bring in Young, who is a massive question mark at best. And could Carolina really get two good draft picks for a small QB they just benched?
Still, it’s hard not to appreciate Daniel bringing the vibes of every NFL Reddit commenter or message board poster to the airwaves of FS1. Daniel is nothing if not passionate, and that comes through here in enough supply to get people to watch.
Just don’t expect this trade to happen on this plane of reality any time soon.
