Alex Rodriguez wears many hats, as a baseball legend, MLB on Fox analyst, and now an NBA team owner.
Sunday, he played the role of hero for a college student, winning the student $10,000.
At halftime of Bucknell’s home game against Army, Rodriguez stepped on the court to attempt a three-point shot from half court during a promotion.
The 14-time MLB All-Star looked more like a former NBA All-Star as he smoothly banked in the shot.
A-Rod and the lucky student then got mobbed by a crowd as everyone celebrated his clutch shot.
Just a casual Sunday afternoon for Alex Rodriguez… here he is banking in a half court shot to win 10K for a Bucknell Student

Rodriguez spent the day on Bucknell’s campus with his business partner, entrepreneur Marc Lore, speaking at a special forum, then attending the game. Rodriguez and Lore recently succeeded in their lengthy quest to purchase majority ownership in the Minnesota Timberwolves.
An arbitration panel earlier this month ruled in favor of Rodriguez and Lore in their bid to purchase the Timberwolves and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx.
So counting Sunday’s half-court shot, that’s two big wins for A-Rod this month.
