Brooks Koepka Jena Sims

This is our weekly look at the most popular — or in some cases our personal favorite — videos on Clippit over the past week. Clippit is an awesome app that allows us to quickly grab 30-second clips from several live TV broadcasts and share them on social media.

Joe Buck misidentifies U.S. Open champ Brooks Koepka’s girlfriend Jena Sims as Koepka’s ex-girlfriend, Becky Edwards

After Brooks Koepka won the U.S. Open on Sunday, he had a celebratory kiss with his girlfriend, Jena Sims. However, Joe Buck referred to her as Becky Edwards, Koepka’s ex-girlfriend. And that’s a bit awkward.

Buck was surely getting that information relayed through good ol’ Wikipedia, which had Edwards — a professional soccer player — listed as Koepka’s girlfriend.

The Fox play-by-play man has since talked about the moment on The Dan Patrick Show:

“It was all a mess, but I mean, you know, I’ve done way worse things than this, that’s the funny thing, but it was before the age of Twitter and kind of clickbait kind of stuff. I asked [former MLB infielder] Tony Womack at the end of a Division Series game, when he was hugging a woman down on the field and I was interviewing him from the booth.”

Speaking of awkward, that’s what it was when Jalen Rose started talking about Michelle Beadle’s outfit during the NBA Finals

During NBA Countdown before Game 5 of the NBA Finals, things got a bit weird when Jalen Rose started talking about Michelle Beadle’s outfit:

The terrific Doris Burke followed up as the sideline reporter:

“And Michelle, I’m not sure what those guys are talking about in terms of your attire. All I know is that I see a rose between several thorns there. Back to you.”

This tweet on Around the Horn was definitely not from Adrian Wojnarowski

Whoops.
