Last week, ESPN personality Pablo Torre made headlines outside of the sports media realm during his appearance on Celebrity Family Feud. And on Thursday’s edition of Around the Horn, Torre was celebrated for his Fast Money performance in more ways than one.

For those who didn’t catch Torre on Celebrity Family Feud, he joined ESPN colleague Mina Kimes, celebrity chef David Chang, former LPGA star Michelle Wie West and author Chris Ying on a team that faced off against a team headlined by John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.

Not only was Torre’s team able to beat Legend’s team and advance to Fast Money, but Torre also made Celebrity Family Feud history by scoring 174 points in his portion of Fast Money to reach the 200-point goal needed to win and secure the grand prize of $25,000 for charity.

It was truly one of the best moments in the history of Celebrity Family Feud. And on Around the Horn on Thursday, host Tony Reali made it a point to celebrate Torre’s big win by giving him 174 points to start the show.

On top of that, Reali did his best impression of Celebrity Family Feud host Steve Harvey by conducting a mock Fast Money segment at the end of Thursday’s Around the Horn episode.

“The Horn family with its work cut out for it,” said Reali while wearing a fake mustache to mimic Harvey. “After a subpar first round by Mina Kimes. Oooh, Pablo Torre get out here. You were in that soundproof room, you couldn’t hear anything. Like a mute button for your ears, my friend. But know this, Mina Kimes scored 54 points. Yes, so the future dreams and hopes of the Horn’s relies on you.”

Torre would then answer five questions similarly to the real Fast Money portion of Celebrity Family Feud. Only this time, the questions were entirely sports-themed.

  • Question 1: Which NHL team reporting to camp today is under the most pressure? Answer: Toronto Maple Leafs
  • Question 2: On a scale of 1-10, how nice is the scoring on Around the Horn? Answer: 4
  • Question 3: Name the greatest tight end ever created. Answer: Shannon Sharpe
  • Question 4: Name a team you should never cheer for when you’re drunk. Answer: Dallas Cowboys
  • Question 5: Name the biggest what-if player ever created from the 1990s. Answer: Penny Hardaway

As you would likely assume, Torre indeed reached the 200-point goal yet again in the mock Fast Money segment.

This segment was not only cool for Torre to relive once again. It was also somewhat of a dream come true for Tony Reali, who took to social media to offer his excitement about impersonating Steve Harvey on Thursday’s show.

“Family Feud is my favorite game show,” wrote Reali on X. “Hosting Family Feud is a dream. Today with the reigning greatest Family Feud contestant ever making his triumphant return to Around the Horn, I got to have some fun.”
