Former Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher is joining ACC Network.
The 2013 national championship-winning coach will join the network’s signature college football studio show ACC Huddle, ESPN announced on Tuesday. Fisher will join host Taylor Tannebaum and analysts Eric Mac Lain and Eddie Royal on the Huddle desk. EJ Manuel, a former Huddle staple, will transition to a new ESPN studio role while maintaining a “strong presence” on ACC Network.
“I’m looking forward to joining ACC Network and the Huddle team this season,” Fisher said in a statement. “I’ve always had tremendous respect for this conference, and I’m looking forward to breaking down the action each week with such a talented group.”

ACC Network is also altering its strategy when it comes to how it deploys its signature college football studio show.
ACC commissioner Jim Phillips announced at ACC Media Days on Tuesday that ACC Huddle will now travel to the conference’s top game of the week. Previously, Huddle had traveled to ACC Network’s weekly primetime game which, more often than not, did not feature one of the conference’s top teams. This season, ACC Huddle will debut on August 30 for LSU’s visit to Clemson.
Along with shifting the show away from ACC Network’s primetime game, Huddle will add an hour to its morning pregame show, airing from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET this season.
Throughout the day on Saturday and after the final game wraps up at night, Kelsey Riggs Cuff, Mark Richt, and Tom Luginbill will serve as ACC Network studio hosts from ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol.
Additionally, ACC Network will debut a twice-weekly college football studio show called ACC Network Football Podcast featuring Manuel and Roddy Jones. The show, which will air at 5 p.m. ET, will feature player interviews, team breakdowns, and more.
