Jason Kelce does it all for ESPN.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center is a panelist on Monday Night Countdown, hosts his own late-night show for ESPN, and is the network’s certified tailgate correspondent. So when Kelce was presented the opportunity to compete in a bench press competition with a young Birds fan, there was no question he’d take it.

The young man, Xander, was able to pump out an impressive 12 reps on the bench before Kelce told him, “I’m going to kick your butt now.” Little did the retired center know, he has clearly lost a step since being in the league.
Jason Kelce started out strong, his first 10 reps being done in rapid fire succession. But then, the man who in many ways was the key to the Eagles’ signature “tush push” play began to struggle. And in the upset of the century, Kelce maxed out at 11 reps on the bench, one shy of future Eagles great, Xander.
Hopefully for the young man there were some college scouts in attendance. Anyone that can beat out Kelce in a bench press competition at his age should be offered a scholarship on the spot.
