Whether it’s the Kansas City Chiefs or Philadelphia Eagles, one — and only one — team will Super Bowl LIX on Sunday. While that’s a fairly simple idea to grasp, the cast of ESPN’s Get Up seemed to struggle with the concept.
On Thursday’s episode of Get Up, the panel of Louis Riddick, Dan Graziano, Domonique Foxworth, Jeff Saturday and Mike Greenberg made their picks. The selection was unanimous. The Chiefs will win their third Super Bowl in a row.
Or will they?
On Friday, the Get Up cast once again made its picks. Once again, the picks were unanimous. This time, though, the Philadelphia Eagles were chosen as the Super Bowl LIX winner.
The cast of Get Up completely flip flopped their Super Bowl picks from Thursday (Chiefs) to Friday (Eagles).

In the interest of fairness, we do have to note that the panels were not identical. Riddick and Graziano were not on Friday’s panel. They were replaced by Adam Schefter and Ryan Clark.
Still, Foxworth, Saturday and Greenberg were part of both panels, which picked different Super Bowl LIX winners unanimously. And it’s not as though the Chiefs suffered an injury to a key player or the Eagles got good injury news about someone whose status was previously unclear. The changes were made despite both teams having similar outlooks.
Greenberg even noted the change.
“Here’s the hilarious thing,” he said on Friday. “This graphic, yesterday. All of us picked the Chiefs.”
“I flip-flopped,” Saturday added.
“So that is a great lesson for all the journalism students who are here,” Greenberg said. “Just pick both sides. That way you can’t possibly be wrong.”
“Ride the fence,” Schefter said.
