ESPN Films released the trailer for their next installment in its 30 for 30 series on Thursday night, during the premiere of “The Two Bills” (which we reviewed here).

The new 30 for 30 is about Bob Knight and the controversial end of his tenure at Indiana, titled The Last Days of Knight. ESPN hasn’t given a specific release date for The Last Days of Knight, but says it will premiere in the spring, so likely around March Madness. It’s directed by Robert Abbott (who produced the “Catholics vs. Convicts” 30 for 30).

Knight led the Indiana Hoosiers to three national championships (1976, 1981, 1987), but his tenure at Indiana is known even more these days for his antics and abusive disciplinary ways. It appears the documentary will largely focus on the choking incident with Neil Reed that led to Knight’s dismissal from the university.

The trailer and announcement of this 30 for 30 was met with mixed reaction on Twitter.
