ESPN’s Shannon Sharpe made headlines recently for all the wrong reasons and his coworkers aren’t ready to let him live it down just yet.
Last week, Sharpe was the most-discussed personality in sports media after accidentally going live on Instagram while having sex. The incident actually didn’t lead to much negativity towards the former NFL star. In fact, ESPN decided not to punish him and many of his colleagues have spoken in his defense.
If anything, the situation ended up being positive for him. That evening’s episode of Nightcap, which he co-hosts with Chad Johnson, drew a massive audience. They’ve also started selling t-shirts based on the incident .
However, that doesn’t mean that his fellow ESPN employees are done giving him grief.
On Tuesday’s edition of First Take, Sharpe, Stephen A. Smith, and Dominique Foxworth were discussing the Carolina Panthers’ decision to bench Bryce Young. Sharpe referenced the Panthers’ lack of talent, saying that he could suit up and play tight end for them.
“If you give me three months and my hips hold up, I could play two or three games at tight end for them,” said Sharpe.
Foxworth saw the perfect opportunity and couldn’t help but strike immediately.
“I think your hips are fine,” said Foxworth, which got a good laugh out of Sharpe.

After the show, Foxworth took to social media to admire his jab at Sharpe.
“If this was my last act on First Take, it has been an honor to serve,” wrote Foxworth on X.

Shannon Sharpe never knows when one of his colleagues might strike next…
