ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky has become infamous for his bizarre takes on food, and he was at it again Thursday, caught on video doing something weird with a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.

Orlovsky’s NFL Live colleague, Ryan Clark, posted a video on X showing him eating a Reese’s, then repeatedly spitting something out on the table.

“What is he doing?” someone in the video asked.

“Wait, so what are you spitting out, though?” Clark asked.

“The chocolate,” Orlovsky announced as if this were the most normal thing in the world.

“So you’re just trying to eat the peanut butter?” Clark tried to clarify.

“So what part are you spitting out?” Clark asked again, confused.

“The chocolate — I don’t like milk chocolate,” Orlovsky said.

“OK, cool,” Clark said.

At least we now have an answer to why Orlovsky rated Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups last year as his most overrated Halloween candy on an episode of Get Up.

Orlovsky’s eating-and-spitting routine caught the attention of multiple of his colleagues across sports media.

“Maximum security prison. @danorlovsky7 I’m sorry but you should never see the sun again after this,” posted Mike Golic Jr.


So, where does this incident rank among Orlovsky’s all-time questionable food choices and practices? It’s hard to say. Remember, this man said last year he grew up eating mayonnaise sandwiches, drinking red wine with ice cubes, having a weird way of eating Mentos, and eating mac and cheese and a Caesar salad for Thanksgiving.

“I love when people lose their minds over how weird I am,” Orlovsky said a couple of years ago regarding his weird food habits.

He definitely hasn’t lost his touch.
