Dan Le Batard has proven to be one of the ESPN employees most willing to take shots at FS1, and he did so again on ESPN’s Highly Questionable Wednesday with a blast at Skip Bayless. First, he showed a viral clip of unintelligent fish-eating monster “the sandstriker” (which looks like a tiny Sarlaac):
This includes a part where the narrator says “They don’t have eyes, or a brain. They only attack when one of their antennae is trigged.”
Then, after the clip’s finale, which includes “the strikers withdraw to digest—until the next time,” Le Batard then called it “The Skip Bayless of the sea.”
Comparing Bayless to a brainless creature that only comes out to feed when triggered? Those are some shots fired. But Le Batard has gone after Bayless in the past, especially after his move to FS1; in April, Le Batard said “You leave, you’re going to get lost,” and in September, he called Undisputed “First Fake.” So, this isn’t exactly out of character. It’s still pretty funny to see Le Batard blast a former coworker this way, though.
