ESPN’s College GameDay will head to Eugene, Oregon in Week 7 ahead of one of the most highly anticipated matchups of the season between the No. 3 Oregon Ducks and the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes. And on Thursday, the guest picker for the pregame show was revealed, a guest picker who falls far more into the pop culture realm than the typical sports personality.

The last time College GameDay was in Eugene, New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu was the guest picker on the show,

This time around, Ionescu of course is quite busy after playing a driving force in the Liberty making it to the WNBA Finals. Instead, actress Kaitlin Olson, who graduated from Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts in 1997, will serve as the Week 7 guest picker on College Gameday.

Olson is best known for her role as Deandra Reynolds or “Sweet Dee” in the hit FX show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. But she’s also been featured in a number of other prominent shows and movies, including upcoming ABC (also owned by ESPN parent Disney) series High Potential, Netflix’s recent Agent Elvis series and Incoming film, and more.

The vast majority of the guest pickers this year have had at least a loose tie to sports in some way. Outside of country music star Blake Shelton in Week 4’s edition of Gameday, every guest picker has at least a loose connection to the sports world, even when it came to Nick Saban’s wife Terry Saban in Week 5.

Olson profiles to be an entirely different guest picker from most that may not exactly intrigue the traditional sports fan. But what she may lack in a sports past, she certainly makes up for in terms of her comedic side, which could interest those who may not be looking for even more hard-hitting sports knowledge from a guest picker.
