Ben Solak is now hosting a daily NFL podcast at ESPN.
The ESPN analyst announced on X that he’s hosting Leaguewide, a new NFL podcast that will publish five days a week throughout the season. The show will feature a rotating lineup of ESPN reporters and analysts, and it’s billed as a one-stop shop covering the week’s biggest stories along with film, fantasy, betting, the draft, trades, and off-the-field news.
In a teaser for the show, Solak revealed that each day of the week will have its own distinct focus. Mondays will break down Sunday’s slate, spotlighting the brightest stars, the biggest games and the craziest moments, and Tuesdays will recap Monday Night Football while getting the inside scoop on the week’s breaking news. Wednesday is film day, an examination of who’s rising, who’s falling, and who’s barely hanging on. On Thursdays, the show will lean on ESPN’s reporters to dive deep into whatever story is dominating the news cycle, and Fridays will get listeners ready for the Sunday ahead.
“Do you love the NFL? Do you love it so much that you wish there was a new podcast in your feed every single morning for your daily commute? Me too. I’m Ben Solak, and I love the NFL so much that we’re gonna do it.”

Leaguewide gives Solak a show of his own for the first time since he left The Ringer for ESPN in August 2024. The network brought him on as a national NFL analyst to handle film breakdowns and data-driven analysis while chipping in on its betting coverage, and until now, most of his work has appeared on ESPN+ and as a guest across ESPN’s podcast lineup.
After cutting his teeth at The Draft Network, Solak became one of The Ringer’s most recognizable NFL voices, writing and co-hosting The Ringer NFL Show alongside Sheil Kapadia. His gift for translating dense film study into digestible, often entertaining analysis quickly saw him become one of the most sought-after young minds in football media, earning him a wide circle of admirers that included Peter King, who anointed Solak “the new kid on the block” while bidding farewell to his “Football Morning in America” column.
Leaguewide is available wherever you get your podcasts, with video episodes streaming on the NFL on ESPN YouTube channel
