This is our weekly look at the most popular — or in some cases our personal favorite — videos on Clippit over the past week. Clippit is an awesome app that allows us to quickly grab 30-second clips from several live TV broadcasts and share them on social media.
This has to be the most bizarre fantasy football analysis segment ever
Stephania Bell was on with Matthew Berry to break down NFL injuries on ESPN’s The Fantasy Show, and got some very weird assistance from people dressed in skeleton and muscle costumes in the background. It’s impressive that Bell and Berry were able to continue their analysis during this segment:
Tony Romo is very excited about the return of Beast Mode
Tony Romo did his first game in the booth as a CBS color commentator with Jim Nantz, and drew rave reviews for his performance. Romo provided tremendous analysis and predicted many plays before they happened, and also showed great enthusiasm on the broadcast. An example of that enthusiasm was when Marshawn Lynch had this run in his return to the NFL with the Oakland Raiders:
And on the topic of Tony Romo’s first game…
Phil Simms — the guy Romo replaced on the CBS broadcast— asked Romo “How’s that seat feel?”. Kind of a neat moment… but also very awkward:
And here’s Simms dancing on the same program (NFL Today):
Scott Van Pelt refers to the Chargers as “San Diego”
Just like the ref of the Chargers-Broncos game on Monday night. We’ll surely be seeing a lot of this for a while.
