Another streaming bundle, all the rage right now, will emerge this summer if all goes to plan. Wednesday saw news that Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery will join forces to power up a new bundle set to launch later this year.
The news on the new streaming bundle was reported by The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday. Around the same time, Axios reporter Tim Baysinger dropped additional information on the new bundle.

Disney and WBD are bundling Disney+, Max and Hulu starting this summer

The new bundle will put Disney+, Hulu, and Max together beginning this summer. So far, there’s no information on what the price point will be. But, according to Baysinger, ad-free and ad-supported versions of the bundle will be made available.
Hulu and Disney+ haven’t dug too deeply into sports offerings quite yet (although they are, of course, tied to a company bundle with ESPN+), but this obviously impacts Max and their sports offerings. The B/R Sports add-on feature allows fans to watch sports from WBD properties at an additional cost. Additionally, the rumored ‘Spulu’ offering would obviously impact sports as well, and there’s no telling if this deal impacts that either.
That price point might not be adjusted once this bundle is created, but it certainly lends itself to be an opportunity for sports fans to hopefully conserve instead of having to pay extra for everything nowadays.
