Quarterback Chris Streveler played for several NFL squads across his career, but his crowning moment came in 2019 when he led the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to a Grey Cup championship.

Streveler retired from playing football earlier this year, but he’s jumping back into CFL and NFL coverage from the media side.

DAZN announced Tuesday that Streveler is joining their broadcasting team this season as an analyst, creator, and on-air personality across CFL and NFL programming.

Streveler is expected to make appearances across DAZN’s Canadian platforms, including the DAZN Canada YouTube channel, his personal channel, and DAZN’s live and on-demand programming. His digital series, See it Like Strev, will also now be available on DAZN Canada.

The two-time CFL rushing touchdowns leader will host the new QB POV series starting this season, where he’ll break down each division from a quarterback’s perspective. The series will be exclusive to NFL Game Pass on DAZN.

In 2027, Streveler, who has been dipping his toe in broadcasting since retirement, is set to join the broadcast booth for CFL games on DAZN.

“DAZN is building something special for football fans,” Streveler said. “I’ve always loved connecting with people, telling stories, and bringing energy to the game. Joining DAZN feels like the perfect way to stay close to the sport I love and the fans who have supported me from day one.”

Presumably, Streveler will break out the infamous fur coat he wore (sans undershirt) during the 2019 CFL Grey Cup celebration, which became a calling card in later years.
