College GameDay may have Nick Saban and Pat McAfee, but Big Noon Kickoff had DJ Khaled on Saturday.
In the latest chapter of the ESPN vs Fox Saturday morning college football pregame battle, the advantage would have definitely gone to Bristol. GameDay was in Tuscaloosa for the Top 5 showdown between Georgia and Alabama. Big Noon was in Orlando, following Deion Sanders and Colorado for an unranked game against UCF.
Colorado-UCF will likely never be confused with one of college football’s great rivalries in any of our lifetimes, but Big Noon had an ace up their sleeve thanks to a live performance from global superstar (and Orlando native) DJ Khaled along with Fat Joe.
After performing a set, Khaled and Joe came over to the Big Noon crew for a brief segment in front of the crowd. After hyping up the fans, talking about the music industry, and DJ’s respect for Coach Prime, it ended with something you might expect from McAfee on the other channel – a crowd surf.
DJ KHALED JUST CROWD SURFED IN ORLANDO 🤣🏄♂️😱@djkhaled | @UCF_Football | @markingramII pic.twitter.com/h07Z0kgItb

As far as college football pregame guest star appearances go, that was pretty entertaining and something totally unexpected.
There are so many amazing things about this clip. First, God bless DJ Khaled for diving head first into the crowd with a vertical leap that matches Phil Mickelson. Thankfully, Rob Stone and Mark Ingram were on hand to help him the rest of the way. Then, after spending just a few seconds in the crowd in maybe the shortest crowd surfing attempt in recorded history, what appears to be DJ Khaled’s personal security force appears out of nowhere to forcibly pull him back from the UCF fans. If only the Secret Service could act with such swift and decisive action.
