While Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson has been public knowledge since last June, Super Bowl week seemed to double as a “hard launch” of sorts for the couple.
In the lead up to Sunday’s game, the 72-year-old North Carolina head coach and 24-year-old former Bridgewater State University cheerleader were seemingly everywhere, from red carpets to trolling the Atlanta Falcons on the streets of New Orleans. Belichick and Hudson’s Super Bowl week culminated with the couple making a cameo in a celebrity-filled commercial for Dunkin’.
But while Belichick’s relationship with Hudson has raised plenty of eyebrows in the eight months since they first went public, it appears there may be more to the story. On the latest episode of Pablo Torre Finds Out, the show’s host revealed that Hudson isn’t just Belichick’s manager, but is also heavily involved in the former New England Patriots head coach’s business affairs.
“What I’ve been told is that Jordon has essentially been functioning as Bill Belichick’s…” Torre began.
“Momager?” guest Katie Nolan interrupted.
Close.
“She has represented herself as essentially his de facto agent,” Torre continued. “The person who you need to go through to book Bill Belichick for a Super Bowl commercia. Or for the other commitments he has as a multi-platform personality. She’s the gateway.”
In fact, according to Torre, Hudson even used her pull to land herself a role in the aforementioned Dunkin’ Super Bowl ad.
“The point should not be lost that Bill Belichick is doing literally the opposite of what he used to do,” Torre said.
“What I have been told is that Jordon essentially has been functioning as Bill Belichick’s … de facto agent.”
Sources tell @PabloTorre that Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson “happened to use that power to be in the [Dunkin’ Super Bowl] commercial as well.”… pic.twitter.com/BvcY7wbzdq

Nolan proceeded to make the case that it’s plenty possible that Belichick and Hudson are so in love that she’s helped transform what was previously one of football’s most notorious grumps into a budding socialite. She conceded, however, that the optics aren’t great, as the idea of her being so heavily involved in her multimillionaire boyfriend’s business affairs only furthers the perception that this is more than just a love story.
“When you make moves this way, when we’re already going, ‘You’re how much younger than him?’ And then you show up in a commercial. And then you hear that she’s in charge in his career. That’s when you go, ‘OK, these are all also the traits of somebody who would be here for the wrong reasons,'” the Casuals host said. “I need to see some of the traits that are evidence that you’re here for the right reasons. Otherwise, you’re acting like the evidence is adding up. It seems like you could be taking advantage of the guy.”
Then again…
“And he’s obviously taking advantage of the girl,” she continued.
Ultimately, Belichick and Hudson are two consenting adults and what their respective motivations are in their relationship is their business. Still, the news that Belichick’s business affairs are now being managed by his girlfriend is certainly noteworthy, especially considering the shift in his public persona over the course of the last year.
