While the SEC fights for supremacy in college football, you have to pour one out for Arkansas Razorbacks fans who feel left on the outside looking in.
Arkansas has a proud football heritage and tradition, but they have been left behind as college football has raced forward into the NIL era. The Razorbacks haven’t had a 10-win season since Bobby Petrino crashed his motorcycle in 2012. And while there have been a few winning seasons here and there, the program has never seriously contended for a College Football Playoff berth.
Now Arkansas seems further from competing than ever. After a 2-10 campaign last season under coach Sam Pittman, things look relatively hopeless once again this year. Arkansas was smashed by Utah 43-10 on Saturday in a game that showed just how far the school has to go to get to where they want to be.
And after several decades supporting the program, one diehard Hogs fan has seen enough.
On ESPN Arkansas, The Chuck and Bo Show took a call from a woman named Lisa. And any setup to what you’re about to hear in this call simply can’t do it justice. The only thing I can say is that it should get immediate entry into the Hall of Fame of sports talk radio calls.

Just a few of the gems from Ms. Lisa include:
“I haven’t slept in 48 hours. My nose peel has worn off. So hang on to your seats.”
“I’ve been going regularly since I’ve been 5. And if my math is correct, this morning that’s 62 years. And they don’t give a you-know-what about me. They don’t care if I come or go. But if everybody starts feeling that way and they don’t get their six-figure or seven-figure check, then they might start getting a little nervous.”
“I wouldn’t even give him time to clean out his desk. I’d mail it to him UPS!”
“I’ve got to go to the games. I’ve got the tickets. Nobody wants them! I can’t sell them!”
“We are the worst we’ve ever been. We were fed a bunch of crow that I started eating, baked, fried, and smothered.”
“Everybody on that hill needs to be ran out of town on a donkey. No, Christ was on a donkey. That’s not good enough for them. I want them on the back of a turtle.”
“We will not win another game the rest of the year. And if we do, I’ll die of a heart attack of disbelief!”
And if that wasn’t enough, the hosts asked Ms. Lisa to sign off as they headed into a commercial break, and she did so with one more glorious shot at the current state of the Arkansas program.
“This is Lisa Hancock from Light, Arkansas, in northeast Arkansas, where the best Hog fans live. And I’m speaking on the Chuck and Bo Show. And I love Chuck, and I love Bo, but I can’t stand Hunter Yurachek.”
At one point in the call, Lisa said that she would call every station that she could. And amazingly, she wasn’t kidding! She also called into 103.7 The Buzz on the Morning Mayhem show and unleashed some more incredible thoughts on the state of her beloved Razorbacks.
In case you weren’t sure, she’s still not a fan of Hunter Yurachek.
“If I get my hands on him, I’m gonna choke him.” -Ms. Lisa is fed up with a Hunter Yurachek and Arkansas Football @DavidBazzel, @RogerDoyleScott, and @Cweaver1037

Here are some more of her iconic one-liners:
“I could have been around the world for what I’ve sent up there.”
“I’m trying not to cuss. I’m really trying not to cuss, but they don’t give a d-a-m-n about the fans. They do not care!”
“I could have been to Vegas, put it all on black, and possibly doubled my money! Look at the money I’ve thrown away listening to this guy talk BS down here at Jonesboro.”
“I’m going to drive up there, they’re probably going to arrest me, one of y’all will have to come get me out, they’re probably going to arrest me but they’re going to hear me out. Usually when I’m up there, they are on the pot or in a meeting. They can get up off the pot, and they can leave the meeting because I’m tired of it.”
“Hunter Yurachek, I got pretty close to him at the Red and White Game. If I can get my hands on him, I’m going to choke him. I’m telling you all right now I’m going to choke him.”
Incredibly, those two calls were just the appetizers to the main course. Because Ms. Lisa also called into the Inside Arkansas show with John Nabors, where she talked for FORTY MINUTES about the football program, Hunter Yurachek, and her call to the athletic department office that resulted in a GoFundMe for the staffer who told her to be a fan for Arkansas State to get her unibrow waxed.
This is why college football is one of the greatest things in the world. If Ms. Lisa doesn’t have an SEC Network show that can air after Paul Finebaum, then what are we even doing anymore?
