It’s an age-old question: Who can party harder: Ric Flair or Bill Raftery?

That’s exactly what Jimmy Traina wanted to know as he interviewed Brad Nessler, who has spent nights out on the town with both legends. And the CBS play-by-play man’s answer might surprise you.

“I think Raft,” Nessler answered when asked who he would need to prepare more for before a night out during an appearance on the SI Media Podcast. “Because despite the fact he’s older than Ric, I think he can hang longer.”

Nessler’s answer was largely unexpected, considering the Nature Boy’s legendary partying habits. But despite his previous reputation as pro wrestling’s ironman, the CBS broadcaster says that the 16-time world heavyweight champion doesn’t possess as much stamina outside of the ring as he once did inside it.

“If it was a sprint, I’d go with Flair. If it was a marathon, I’d have to get ready for Raft,” Nessler said. “It seems unbelievable that the Nature Boy would be outdone by Bill Raftery, but I’m going to go with Raft. When Ric hears this, I’ll hear about it for sure.”

Considering the 75-year-old Flair’s propensity for escalating feuds via social media, it likely won’t be long until we get that rebuttal.
