CBS Sports’ 2024-25 college basketball schedule features an expanded slate of Big Ten and Big 12 games and more women’s games.
The network, entering its 44th season of broadcasting college basketball, will begin its coverage Nov. 28 with the CBS Sports Thanksgiving Classic featuring Illinois vs. Arkansas.
The CBS and Paramount+ schedule features 24 appearances by preseason AP Top 25 teams, including appearances by four of the top five teams, No. 1 Kansas (two games), two-time defending national champion UConn, which is ranked third in the preseason, along with No. 4 Houston and No. 5 Iowa State (two games).
Another date to circle on the schedule is Dec. 21, for the CBS Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden. No. 9 North Carolina will play No. 22 UCLA at 3 p.m. (ET) followed by No. 23 Kentucky vs. Ohio State.

The CBS Sports Classic on Dec. 28 will feature HBCU rivalry games between North Carolina A&T and North Carolina Central (2 p.m.) followed by Howard vs. Hampton.
CBS Sports Network will stream 25 regular-season appearances by preseason AP Top 25 teams, as well as 28 women’s games.
CBS Sports will broadcast 15 automatic bids to the NCAA men’s and women’s tournaments, including five on CBS.
And of course CBS will once again, along with TNT Sports, be the exclusive home of the Men’s NCAA Tournament.
