Creed, which came out this past Thanksgiving and was a hit, included some great boxing scenes. Some of them had real punches, too, such as this one where Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed took a big shot from adversary “Rickie Conlin.”
Well, it turns out the boxer who fought Jordan as “Conlin” in Creed is a real boxer — and a successful one. His name is Tony Bellew, and he won the WBC Cruiserweight Championship on Saturday. And beyond just his dominant performance, Bellew unleashed a fantastic rant following his win.
Bellew dominated his match, knocking down his opponent three different times en route to his third-round win. Here’s some footage of the great performance.

The championship was followed by a rant that can’t really be given any description, encouraging fellow boxer David Haye (who was in the crowd) to get in the ring and fight him there and then. You just have to watch it to believe it.

You’ve gotta love the passion from Bellew and his unbelievable ranting skills. If he keeps working the mic like that, maybe he’ll be a subject of a movie in his own right some day.
