As sad as Muhammad Ali’s death is, the tributes have been outstanding.

It started with Bob Ley and Jeremy Schaap telling Ali stories on SportsCenter until 4 a.m. Since then, there have been countless tributes, think-pieces, and everything in between.

HBO is among those putting out tributes to Ali. In just eight minutes, HBO is able to break down just how impactful Ali was in the ring, as well as in the political and social world. And to no one’s surprise, the video knocks it out of the park:

It starts with the narration. HBO brings out Liev Schreiber for the occasion on short notice. His voice alone makes the video seem like a big deal. It’s amazing to see Ali’s monumental impact put into an eight-minute, YouTube video.

This is not the first time HBO has done a tremendous job with coverage on Ali. In 2013, HBO put out “Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight,” a movie that documents Ali’s refusal to enter the Vietnam War.

The video is definitely worth the watch. Before ESPN with 30 for 30, HBO was the go-to for sports documentaries and has done a lot of great work covering Ali.  It’s great to see HBO hitting that high note again with this tribute.
