Dating back to 2017, Jon “Stugotz” Weiner has been making references to his “personal record book,” in which he uses his own judgment to determine which championships, awards and records should actually count.
Now the co-host of The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz is finally getting around to actually publishing it, with a little help from his friends.
A product of Penguin Random House,
It’s also a safe bet that the original take that launched Stugotz’s personal record book — that Kevin Durant’s two NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors weren’t valid — will be prominently featured in the book.
“This long-awaited book reveals the real winners and losers in sports according to Stugotz, containing all of his best takes that are sure to make some readers smile, and some readers scream,” a listing for the book reads.

Never one to be known for his hard work, Stugotz’s personal record book will also include contributions from guest authors, including ESPN’s Mina Kimes, Tim Kurkjian, Miami Herald columnist/Le Batard Show contributor Greg Cote and former NBA head coach-turned TNT analyst Stan Van Gundy. A preorder for the book is currently ongoing, with those who purchase it via the Porchlight Book Company between Tuesday, April 30, and Thursday, May 2, receiving an autographed copy and book worm/snake decal.
