Kirk Minihane has never been afraid to say what is on his mind, which landed the podcast host in hot water several times. Perhaps the most notable feud of his career has confusingly been with his Barstool Sports boss, Dave Portnoy, whom he called out publicly again on Monday.
Minihane and Portnoy have been at odds numerous times during his time at the company. Minihane was briefly fired before cooler heads prevailed after Portnoy took issue with Minihane’s comments about fellow Barstool personality Brianna “Chickenfry” Lapaglia, whom Minihane recently called a “fraud” and a “f*cking piece of sh*t.”
Recently, Minihane and Portnoy’s relationship hit another snag when Portnoy opted not to invite Minihane to his upcoming Internet Invitational golf tournament. Minihane has had plenty to say about that.

That was the tip of the iceberg regarding Minihane’s grievances towards Portnoy. On Monday’s edition of The Kirk Minihane Show, the former WEEI host aired his grievances with Portnoy recently claiming that people have questioned him on whether Minihane was antisemitic.
“I hate Dave right now,” said Minihane on Monday’s edition of The Kirk Minihane Show. “I’m not gonna lie, I f*cking hate him. Hate his f*cking guts. Yeah, I hate him. The antisemitic thing, it pissed me off. Because he wasn’t kidding. I’m all fine for busting balls or whatever. But that is ridiculous.”
Minihane did later mention his absence from the Internet Invitational event, saying that Portnoy should have the back of any Barstool employee who wants to play in it.
“There is no repairing this. I don’t like the idea that there was a room, and people were like, ‘If Kirk Minihane is in this, we’re not playing in it.’ And as the guy who runs Barstool, like I said last week. I don’t care if it’s me. If it’s anybody that he (employs), I would be like, ‘Sorry. I mean, I have the whole list (of players) on me.'”

It’s nothing new for Portnoy and Minihane not to see eye to eye. So, chances are the two will sort out their differences at some point. Still, “hating” your boss doesn’t seem like something that comes with a healthy work environment…
