Patrick Mahomes has never outright said he won’t appear on Barstool Sports’ platforms, but he certainly hinted at it during Super Bowl Media Day. While he appeared on Pardon My Take four years ago, he has largely kept his distance since — perhaps not coincidentally, given Barstool’s relentless criticism of his brother, Jackson, and his wife, Brittany.

Mahomes has also never been on Bussin’ With the Boys, the podcast formerly under the Barstool umbrella.

That could soon change.

The show, hosted by former NFL players Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, recently cut ties with Barstool after receiving an offer from FanDuel that was too good to pass up. The duo made it clear they didn’t want to leave but couldn’t turn down the deal.

At the time, it seemed like there were no hard feelings.

Now? That’s debatable.

On Thursday, Bussin’ With the Boys posted a clip of Lewan asking Mahomes if he’d be open to appearing on the show now that it was independent of Barstool.

“I don’t know if you’ve seen the news, but Bussin’ With the Boys is leaving Barstool Sports,” Lewan said. “Is it safe to say they could see you as a guest in this upcoming offseason?”

“It definitely improved y’all’s chances for sure,” Mahomes replied. “We’ll have to make that happen now.”

That quickly made its way back to Dave Portnoy, and to say he was displeased would be the understatement of the year.

Portnoy didn’t hold back on The Unnamed Show with Ryan Whitney and Kirk Minihane, launching into a graphic tirade.

“Whit read a tweet… and it was Taylor Lewan at like media day, absolutely on his knees, sucking Patrick Mahomes’ c*ck,” Portnoy said. “He had his c*ck down his throat. Taylor Lewan’s mouth — wide open…. He has cum on his face. He’s like someone give me a rag, I have Patrick Mahomes’ cum all over my face, let me wipe it off. You Pussy, Taylor. You pussy.”

He then took to X (formerly Twitter), dubbing Bussin’ With the Boys “PBS” and rebranding them as “Bussin’ with the Softball Question Boys.”

Whitney didn’t necessarily disagree with Portnoy’s outrage, but he resisted the idea that Mahomes’ avoidance of Barstool was surprising, pointing out the obvious.

“Dave said, ‘I didn’t know Mahomes hated us,'” the Spittin’ Chiclets co-host recalled. “I’m like, ‘His wife is getting carved on the website for eight years.'”

“When was the last time the wife — the wife (Brittany) when she got carved, she was spraying champagne in a frozen Buffalo, all over people,” Portnoy replied. “I think her and Jackson Mahomes, was it a TikTok dance (?) on Sean Taylor’s tombstone in Washington. So when we were talking about them, everyone was. I’ve said I like Patrick Mahomes; I think he’s a nice guy. I don’t anymore. Firmly, I’m on the Eagles’ side now.”

“Lewan, literally, is going to have to take a pregnancy test after that,” he added.

Portnoy wasn’t done there.

Barstool has long leaned into the pro-wrestling theatrics of its internal feuds, but Portnoy seemed genuinely ticked off.

“And these two guys, you know, they’ll slobber and suck their d*cks,” Portnoy added. “Good for them… Mahomes should go on that podcast and bring a box of milk bones — little biscuits. And when he likes a question, throw those two little biscuits so they can eat it. What a disgrace!”

He was still pissed off after the live airing of the show and played up the similar angle of Lewan wiping Mahomes’ cum off his face.

As for the Barstool CEO and founder, Portnoy can rage all he wants, but if Mahomes had kept his distance before, he’s probably sprinting the other way now.
