Those who watched AEW’s All In event on Saturday didn’t just see a wrestling card. They also saw the return of Jim Ross, arguably the most well-known announcer in the history of pro wrestling.

In May, Ross, who has endured several significant health issues in recent years, announced that he was diagnosed with colon cancer. Later in the month, he announced that his surgery was successful. In June, Ross revealed that he was cancer-free and expressed his hope to return for All In.

On Saturday, that became a reality.

Before the match between Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega, All In’s penultimate match, Ross returned to the announce desk. As expected, he received a tremendous ovation from the fans at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

The fans in the building were not the only ones happy to see Ross’ return. Fans watching made their appreciation for Ross known on social media.
