The 2014 induction ceremony at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Aug. 8 in Springfield, Mass. (72,000 viewers) drew 140 percent more viewers than the 2013 ceremony (30,000 viewers on Sep. 8, 2013). Among the inductees were Alonzo Mourning, Mitch Richmond, Guy Rodgers, Šarunas Marciulionis, former NBA commissioner David Stern, and former Harlem Globetrotter Nathaniel “Sweetwater” Clifton.

NBA TV’s viewership for the remaining WNBA games for the week included:

  • “Tulsa/Los Angeles” (NBA TV, Aug. 5 10:30 p.m.-12:52 a.m.): 50,000 viewers
