ESPN Top 10 Programs

In total viewership for its entire week in Prime Time (8 p.m. to 11 p.m.), ESPN is down 75 percent (821,000 vs. 3.259 million) from one week earlier (when it had aired the NBA Eastern Conference Finals) and about even (821,000 vs. 825,000) from the same week one year ago (June 3-9, 2013).

In total viewership for its entire week in Total Day (6 a.m. to 5:59 a.m.), ESPN is down 48 percent (538,000 vs. 1.034 million) from one week earlier (when it had aired the NBA Eastern Conference Finals) and down 4 percent (538,000 vs. 558,000) from the same week one year ago (June 3-9, 2013).

ESPN2 Top 10 Programs

In total viewership for its entire week in Prime Time (8 p.m. to 11 p.m.), ESPN2 is up 2 percent (439,000 vs. 432,000) from one week earlier and up 2 percent (439,000 vs. 430,000) from the same week one year ago (June 3-9, 2013).

In total viewership for its entire week in Total Day (6 a.m. to 5:59 a.m.), ESPN2 is down 14 percent (232,000 vs. 269,000) from one week earlier and down 10 percent (232,000 vs. 256,000) from the same week one year ago (June 3-9, 2013).

Comparably, from year-ago levels, the 2014 Women’s College World Series (won by Florida) was down 9 percent for ESPN2’s Game 1 (1.126 million vs. 1.238 million) but up 7 percent for ESPN’s Game 2 (1.412 million vs. 1.315 million); Wednesday’s (375,000) and Thursday’s (391,000) coverage of French Open tennis on ESPN2 were down 14 percent (437,000 on 6/5/2013) and down 32 percent (572,000 on 6/6/2013), respectively.

In total viewership for its entire week in Prime Time (8 p.m. to 11 p.m.), ESPNU is up 44 percent (189,000 vs. 131,000) from one week earlier and up 14 percent (189,000 vs. 166,000) from the same week one year ago (June 3-9, 2013).

In total viewership for its entire week in Total Day (6 a.m. to 5:59 a.m.), ESPNU is up 1 percent (74,000 vs. 73,000) from one week earlier and down 11 percent (74,000 vs. 83,000) from the same week one year ago (June 3-9, 2013).

ESPNEWS Top 10 Programs

In total viewership for its entire week in Prime Time (8 p.m. to 11 p.m.), ESPNEWS is up 29 percent (88,000 vs. 68,000) from one week earlier and up 14 percent (88,000 vs. 77,000) from the same week one year ago (June 3-9, 2013).

In total viewership for its entire week in Total Day (6 a.m. to 5:59 a.m.), ESPNEWS is down 1 percent (66,000 vs. 67,000) from one week earlier and up 1 percent (66,000 vs. 65,000) from the same week one year ago (June 3-9, 2013).
