    The recent winning streak of the Arizona Diamondbacks has lifted the TV ratings for its games in the Phoenix market. Their Sep. 4 13-0 victory over the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers drew a 5.1 local rating (approx. 97,000 homes in the market) on Fox Sports Arizona — the best Phoenix rating on the regional sports network this season.   • MLB Network’s live baseball game action (not counting look-in coverage during “MLB Tonight”) for Sep. 4-9 averaged 180,000 viewers and 48,000 adults 18-49 from the fourteen game showcase telecasts, down 5 percent (in viewers) and down 6 percent (in adults 18-49) from the year-ago week (September 5-6 & 8-10, 2016: average of 188,000 viewers/51,000 adults 18-49 from eight telecasts); also, down 27 percent (in viewers) and down 44 percent (in adults 18-49) from two years ago (September 7-12, 2015: average of 247,000 viewers/85,000 adults 18-49 from eight telecasts).
