ESPN’s Dick Vitale is known for his unbounded enthusiasm about college hoops, but he’s also very excited about music, live-tweeting concerts from artists from Billy Joel to Barry Manilow to Elton John to Lionel Richie to Rod Stewart. In a surprising move, though, his next target appears to be…Justin Timberlake? Here’s a tweet Vitale sent Thursday night:
I want to see the @jtimberlake Show (bucket list)as he is the most talented guy out there on the entertainment scene . A solid gold PTPer !
— Dick Vitale (@DickieV) May 6, 2016
“PTPer” is “prime-time player,” from ESPN’s official Dick Vitale glossary, “V-Speak.” Timberlake was apparently very impressed:

And Vitale responded:
Justin r u coming to Florida with ur tour ?u r #AWESOMEBABY @espnmikes @jksports https://t.co/ime7d6vEGK

No response to that one yet, but hopefully we’ll get to see Vitale live-tweet one of Timberlake’s concerts. Maybe he can even help Justin bring sexy back. The world needs that.
