No matter much you dislike John Calipari, you’re going to smile at this video of him going back and forth with a kid reporter, at his postgame press conference Tuesday.
Calipari turned the question back on the kid, and the exchange was adorable.

So just to keep things straight, the kid thinks Monk is better than Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Eric Bledsoe and Jamal Murray but not as good as Anthony Davis or Boogie Cousins. John Wall is a “maybe.” We don’t know what he thinks about Karl-Anthony Towns.
It looked for a second like Calipari was going to get out of answering the kid’s question, but like any good intrepid reporter, our young hero held his subject accountable and demanded the coach give a straight answer, which Calipari eventually did.
Malik Monk may have a bright future ahead of him, but he’s not the only one.
