By now, EVERYBODY that has access to social media has seen Villanova head coach Jay Wright’s reaction to Kris Jenkins’ buzzer beater that gave his team a national championship. Wright must be the coolest dude on the planet with glacial ice running through his veins. Let’s see it again via The Cauldron.
You can see him say to himself “bang” with the shot in mid-air because he just KNEW it was going in and then he calmly turns to walk towards Roy Williams before he’s stopped by everyone else losing their minds around him because they’ve seen the greatest moment in NCAA Tournament history. One of those people was CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson. If you look closely in the background, you can see Wolfson slowly rise up out of her chair with an amazed look on her face behind a stoic Jay Wright.
Not to be outdone, Charles Barkley had a pretty great reaction too. Barkley said he was cheering for the Wildcats because his daughter went to school at Villanova. He could have also been celebrating a little extra just to stick it to UNC grad Kenny Smith.

It’s great to see everybody cut loose and enjoy an unforgettable moment like that. Well, everyone except Jay Wright I guess because he’s a boss.
