Tim Kurkjian

It seems Scott Van Pelt has one mission in life and that is to make Tim Kurkjian lose it on the air. Whether it was on his old ESPN Radio show or on SportsCenter, Van Pelt’s success rate is so high, that it seems that all he has to say is “fire hydrant,” and Kurkjian will laugh. So it came on Tuesday night during Van Pelt’s SportsCenter at Night show that Kurkjian was on to talk baseball.

Van Pelt wrapped up the segment by talking about a party for his daughter and an ice cream truck. Even before Van Pelt was about to hit the punchline, Kurkjian started laughing and it was TV gold:

Choco Taco. The ice cream treat by Klondike made Tim Kurkjian laugh. Now either Kurkjian will have to get a lifetime supply of Choco Taco or he’ll get a sweet endorsement deal. Now if Van Pelt can make Kurkjian laugh by saying “fire hydrant.”
