What happens when you mix tech culture and sports radio? You get this promo for The Dan Patrick Show’s upcoming live broadcasts from San Francisco ahead of the Feb. 7 Super Bowl in Santa Clara:
While how-to-skateboard apps viewed on skateboards and robot models seem somewhat problematic, it’s harder to go wrong with a search engine for barbecue and beer. There’s some potential here, especially if they keep rocking those turtlenecks. (Or are they tactlenecks?) Who knows, perhaps this will lead to an appearance with the guys from HBO’s Silicon Valley, and a discussion of parking lot apps and margarita machines? In any case, this is certainly one way to disrupt the tech industry.
The Dan Patrick Show will be live from San Francisco starting Feb. 1 in the lead-up to the Super Bowl. It can be seen on AT&T and DirecTV’s Audience Network, plus NBCSN, and heard on Sirius XM and a wide variety of terrestrial affiliates.
