There’s a perception around the world that we as Americans are a bit behind on our soccer knowledge. In spite of the steady growth in popularity of the beautiful game stateside, the major success of tournaments like the World Cup, and the sheer amount of soccer that is televised on a weekly basis… we will likely always have to fight against that perception.

Of course, Tottenham did not win the EPL title and were officially eliminated after their Monday draw with Chelsea. We can only assume Barrie had Spurs on the brain after talking about the basketball version preparing to face the Thunder.
