If it’s Tuesday, then it means Scott Van Pelt has made Tim Kurkjian laugh again. The two Maryland natives get together and all SVP has to do is pronounce something in a Baltimore accent and Kurkjian starts laughing. In fact, all SVP has to do is ask a question and Kurkjian will laugh in anticipation. It doesn’t matter when or where they are, whether it was Van Pelt’s old radio show or on his SportsCenter at Night show, SVP has made it his mission in life to make Kurkjian laugh.

On Monday, SVP had Kurkjian on to talk about a very busy MLB Trade Deadline day and of course, it quickly went downhill when Van Pelt informed Kurkjian what he was doing this summer.

The SVP/Tim Kurkjian dynamic is one of the funniest on ESPN these days. And we hope to see more of this as we get closer to the postseason.
