You’ll remember when the Pirates debuted the Cracker Jack & Mac Dog, which contains caramel sauce, jalapenos, cracker jacks, and macaroni and cheese at PNC Park this season. I had a feeling that this wasn’t going to be a rousing success, and now we have our focus group: Mets broadcaster Ron Darling.
He wasn’t shy in his opinion.
The Mets broadcast team is known for being opinionated. It doesn’t get much more opinionated than throwing the hot dog in the trash on live television and saying that the person who came up with this probably had a few too many Iron City beers. Sorry, Pittsburgh. I guess it’s back to the drawing board.
