Ramona Shelburne to remain at ESPN, to contribute to new daily NBA show and co-host ESPN Radio show

Ramona Shelburne has been one of the more solid reporters at ESPN. Since joining ESPN in 2009, she’s contributed to many of its platforms reporting on the NBA whether it be on dot com, ESPN The Magazine, ESPN Radio and SportsCenter all based out of Los Angeles.

ESPN announced this week that Shelburne will be staying with the organization and expanding her horizons with the Worldwide Leader. She’ll continue her appearances on the aforementioned platforms and appear on Around the Horn, Pardon the Interruption, Outside the Lines, SportsNation, and NBA Tonight as well as write for espnW. But the main vehicle where NBA fans will see Shelburne will be on The Jump, the show that will premiere on February 18 and be hosted by Rachel Nichols who will mark her return to the Worldwide Leader after the last few years with CNN/Turner Sports.

And on February 21, Shelburne will co-host an ESPN Radio show with Michelle Beadle aptly titled “Beadle & Shelburne.” It’ll air from noon-2 p.m. ET from the ESPN Los Angeles studios.

It’s really awesome to see how we’ve built things out in LA with strong, intelligent female voices like my friends Michelle Beadle, Jessica Mendoza and Rachel Nichols.”

So if you haven’t seen Shelburne before, you’ll certainly have plenty of opportunities in the near future.
