Earlier this month, we told you about Fox Sports San Diego’s Don Orsillo and Mark Grant donning eye black during an extended extra-inning affair between the Padres and the Dodgers. During that moment where both Donatello and Mudcat were being shown in the booth, Grant took out a pointer and began to show various sections of Orsillo including his boiler or in layman’s terms, his stomach. Orsillo took to Twitter to mildly express his displeasure with the pointer:

So over the weekend, the Padres were in Arizona and the two broadcast booths split up. That meant Grant visited the Fox Sports Arizona booth where Diamondbacks TV voice Steve Berthiaume elected to give Grant a taste of his own medicine with the pointer to the great glee of Orsillo:

Orsillo’s retort of “You’re not in great shape … either!” is just classic.

And Berthiaume let Orsillo know that he’ll defend a fellow MLB play-by-play man:

The team of Don Orsillo and Mark Grant has become a gem in its first year and Padres fans will be enjoying them for many years to come.
