Jordy Hultberg, a former LSU basketball and current sports radio host in Lafayette, LA, is accused of pushing his estranged wife into a dresser after she caught him with another woman. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office says Hultberg’s wife went to his house to check on him after her daughter was worried about him. That when she found him with another woman.

Police booked Hultberg on counts of domestic abuse battery and simple battery

According to the police report, Hultberg and his wife are going through a divorce. The report also states that when the woman who was with Hultberg was found by his wife, she ran into the bathroom. And the report then describes Hultberg pushing his wife into a dresser and then it states he forcibly kissed her, then shouted “You still want me don’t you!”

In addition, Hultberg’s was found to have suffered some injuries:

A deputy noted in the report that Hultberg’s estranged wife, whose pajamas were torn in the encounter, had redness under her ears, an abrasion on her elbow and a possible bruise on her temple.

When questioned about the incident, Hultberg told a deputy “he did put his hands on the victim but only to put her out of the residence.”

Hultberg’s wife was accompanied to the house by her cousin and apparently he also pushed him her out of the house, but there did not appear to be any signs of injuries on her.

Hultberg hosts a show on “The Game” in Lafayette and was the sideline reporter for the LSU Sports Radio Network as well as Cox Sports Television.

He was released on $4,000 bail. No word on whether he will be suspended by the station.
