The mom who launched a thousand You’re The Real MVP memes is getting her own television movie.

Lifetime has announced plans to make The Real MVP: The Wanda Pratt Story, based on the life of Kevin Durant’s mother Wanda Pratt.

Production on the film is currently underway and it is scheduled to premiere on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 8, on Lifetime. Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere’s Flavor Unit are executive producers.

Cassandra Freeman (Inside Man, Single Ladies) will star as Pratt with Tracie Thoms (Cold Case, Rent) as her best friend and Pauletta Washington (Wilma) as her mother. Kevin Durant will be portrayed by Daniel Bellomy.

To know what the movie is going to be able, all you need to do is watch Kevin Durant’s oft-memed but still wonderful tribute to his mother while receiving the NBA most valuable player award in 2014.

Durant has said in the past that he dislikes how the moment has become comedy fodder. Hopefully the film will be a chance to remind people about the hardships and real sentiment behind that speech.
