We love Hubie Brown. He’s a broadcasting legend and one of the more interesting people to listen to call a game. Hubie is fantastic at breaking down X’s and O’s and there’s a special feeling we all get whenever he talks about the “painted area.”
Today during Cavs-Hawks Game 4, Hubie said this:
Even Hubie makes that sound like an important basketball sequence and not, well, you know…
A few Twitter users have said that it also sounds like “shirk” which is entirely probable, but it’s ambiguous enough to let your inner teenager have a laugh.
