We knew this day was coming, but that doesn’t make it any easier.
Vin Scully called his final game today, and though the storybook ending would have been a walk-off Dodger win, we got that once already with his final game at Dodger Stadium. Instead the Dodgers lost in fairly blowout fashion.
But that might be even more fitting, as what made Vin Scully so great was his ability to make just about any game worth listening to.
