Saturday’s Golden State-Oklahoma City game did very well for ABC. The game which went into overtime and ended with a Warriors 121-118 win, scored a 3.9 overnight rating. And according to ESPN, it’s the highest-rated non-Christmas Day NBA regular season game on any network (ABC, ESPN, TNT, NBA TV) dating back to 2013.

Warriors-Thunder peaked with a 5.6 rating in the last quarter-hour of the game. Locally, the San Francisco market saw a 14.9 rating setting a record for a non-Christmas regular season game on either ABC or ESPN. Oklahoma City experienced a 14.6 rating which was the highest rating for a non-Christmas Day NBA regular season game on ABC or ESPN since 2014.

And last Saturday night’s game was the highest-rated NBA primetime game on ABC in the four weeks of the new package. The 3.9 easily outpaced Warriors-Clippers, San Antonio-Cleveland and Chicago-Cleveland which aired the three weeks previous on the American Broadcasting Company.

The next NBA Saturday primetime game on ABC will be on March 5 when the Houston Rockets take on the Chicago Bulls. Tap is scheduled for 8:35 p.m. ET.
