ESPN has picked up Saturday’s Golden State Warriors-Memphis Grizzlies game meaning that they’ll be on national television on four out of their last five regular season games. And the Warriors game will cause some shuffling in ESPN’s Saturday night primetime schedule. But first things first, fans who want to watch the Warriors tie or possibly break the Chicago Bulls’ record of 72 wins in a season will have the opportunity to do so.
The Warriors need to win out to break the record and win three of four to tie. As it stands now, the next three will be either on ESPN, NBA TV or TNT. Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves which resulted in a 124-117 overtime loss was on TNT. Tonight’s game against the always tough San Antonio Spurs is on TNT. Then Saturday’s game at Memphis is on ESPN and Sunday’s game at home against the Spurs will be on NBA TV. At it stands now, the Warrriors’ final game of the season next Wednesday at home against Memphis is on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area and Fox Sports Tennessee, but that may change if the record is on the line.
ABC’s Saturday night game featuring Cleveland at Chicago remains unchanged, but as far the ESPN family of networks schedule for that night, it has to be shuffled. The NCAA Men’s Division I Hockey Championship game moves from ESPN to ESPN2. Heroes of the Dorm: “Heroic Four” will be aired on ESPNU instead of ESPN2. Got that? We have a grid so you can see which network is airing what.

So fans will have to do a little adjusting if they planned to watch college hockey or gaming, but the television guides should be updated by the time Saturday rolls around.
