Cris Collinsworth to appear on Bill Simmons' podcast

After a brief tête-à-tête yesterday, Cris Collinsworth will appear on Bill Simmons’ podcast on The Ringer this week. The insufferable Boston fan made the announcement on Twitter today:

During the Seahawks-Patriots game on Sunday night, Simmons took a shot at Collinsworth who was singing the praises of Seattle’s offensive line:

Somebody needs to gently break the news to Collinsworth that the Pats have a weak front 7 and that's why Seattle's o-line looks good.

That led to Collinsworth to respond on Twitter, tweaking the former Any Given Wednesday HBO host over the show’s cancellation, but the SNF analyst quickly took it down:

Well apparently the two sides have resolved their differences. Collinsworth won’t be appearing on TV, but he will get to talk to Simmons on a digital device near you.
