What if I told you that YouTube user Jordan Siegel put together a 30 for 30 trailer based on New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon, on the heels of Colon’s very, very unlikely home run?

Well, you probably wouldn’t be surprised, because the internet produces these sort of great things.

And if there was ever a moment from the sports calendar in 2016 that deserves its own 30 for 30 documentary, it’s definitely Bartolo blast.  If “The Shot Heard Round the World” wasn’t already taken as a nickname, then it certainly would have gotten the nod.

What if I told you that dreams still do come true. Behold, the glorious (fake) trailer for 30 for 30: “Big Sexy”

What an athlete. It’s a shame that the trailer is fake, as this would make for a very entertaining 30 for 30 “short” at the very least (although I’d certainly watch an hour of this).

Bartolo’s home run has it all – the incredible comeback, the underdog story, the humor.  It’ll make you laugh, make you cry, and make you fall in love with our national pastime all over again.  Plus, any film that can feature a professional athlete joyfully pinching his own belly flab wins a place in our hearts forever.
