On Saturday, the wait finally ends, and top-tier European soccer league action begins with the first matches of the Barclays Premier League. Over the weeks following, the other major European leagues that can be viewed in America will also kick off, and the European season will be in full swing.
American fans have an embarrassment of riches this season in terms of live European soccer in this country. The Premier League returns on the NBC family of networks. The German Bundesliga makes its debut on Fox’s family of networks. Spain’s La Liga, France’s Ligue 1 , and Italy’s Serie A are all also available on networks in America, though with nowhere near the depth of the Premier League and Bundesliga. Numerous cup competitions, including the English FA Cup, English League Cup, and DFB-Pokal, are also available on US TV, along with the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
Here’s where you can watch everything in the States. Keep in mind that many of the leagues don’t make all of their matches available on streaming services like Live Extra or Fox Soccer 2 Go, so you’re stuck with what’s on the schedule and potential tape-delayed matches.
